Worked as the Circuit Technician for GISA in Fort Bragg, NC.  Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and implementing over 150 communications circuits providing JWICS to remote customers CONUS/OCONUS.  Conducted regular bandwidth analysis and reporting.  Worked with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to engineer, troubleshoot, and install multiple paths of varying speeds and technologies.  Worked as the assistant VTC engineer, maintaining comms and troubleshooting hardware and network failures during conferences.  Experience with Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) and Codian MCU interfaces as well as various Cisco/Tandberg platforms.  Continued to perform the functions of a Network Administrator (see below).

Senior Electronic Systems Repairer, Staff Sergeant, E-6

Served as the shop foreman, supervising 13 technicians, responsible for maintenance on 27 military intelligence and SATCOM systems. Developed a comprehensive work order tracking system which enabled the shop to successfully track and process over 800 work orders in one year.  Experienced with a wide variety of intelligence and SATCOM equipment including the Tactical Exploitation System, Trojan Spirit, and Common Ground Station.  Performed regular network troubleshooting to maintain SATCOM links; setup and configured TACLANE’s, Cisco Routers, Satellite Modems, Antenna Control Units, KIV-7 and KIV-19, Enterprise Servers, and Ciprico Raids.  Experienced in LAN setup and maintenance, CAT-5 and fiber optic cable construction and repair.  Served in Korea, Fort Bragg and Iraq.
